Email Marketing Manager

About the Role

We're hiring an
Email Marketing Manager
to own campaign and newsletter programs for prospects and customers. This contract role (40 hrs/week) is perfect for someone who thrives on building, testing, and launching email campaigns while keeping calendars, deadlines, and cross-team collaboration on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and send campaigns/newsletters for prospects and customers
• Partner with design, analytics, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality emails
• Manage the email calendar and coordinate timelines
• Edit and troubleshoot HTML/CSS in email templates
• Segment lists for accurate targeting
• Track and report performance metrics (open, click, conversion)
• Run A/B tests and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and best practices
• Support lifecycle/nurture flows when needed

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on email marketing experience (B2B or SaaS preferred)
• Proficiency with automation platforms —
  Marketo required
  (Inflection, , Braze a plus)
• Ability to build, QA, and deploy emails end-to-end
• HTML/CSS skills for editing and troubleshooting
• Strong project management with multiple sends/calendars
• Independent contractor mindset with cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing email templates in Figma
• Knowledge of deliverability, accessibility, and email design best practices
• Exposure to lifecycle programs (onboarding, nurture flows)
