Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Camera Systems Engineer to define and deliver camera system requirements and designs that scale from concept through mass production. You'll work across optics, sensors, ISP pipelines, and system integration, collaborating with hardware, ML, embedded software, and operations teams to ensure high-quality imaging solutions for deployment.

Responsibilities

• Define and decompose camera system requirements; perform tradeoff analysis and validation.
• Lead design, test, and calibration of imaging systems, including optical and sensor-level work.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate camera systems into products and support scaled manufacturing.
• Manage vendor relationships, evaluate technologies, and maintain lab/QA processes.
• Support troubleshooting of deployed camera systems.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Engineering, Physics, Imaging Science, or related field.
• 5+ years industry experience with imaging systems and pipelines.
• Strong background in optics, image sensors, ISP tuning, and 3A algorithms.
• Experience taking camera systems from concept to mass production.
• Familiarity with CV/ML fundamentals and programming (Python, etc.).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have
: Experience with HDR, multimodal perception systems, or large-scale deployment.
