What You'll Do
Prepare high-quality meals in large quantities following menus and dietary guidelines

Accurately prepare special diets and pureed foods as needed

Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are always maintained

Help create an enjoyable dining experience for residents

Clean and maintain kitchen, equipment, and serving areas

Record food temperatures and follow portion control processes

Collaborate with dietary team members & other departments

Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor

Report any resident concerns to Nursing leadership

What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent

1+ year of cooking experience in healthcare or long-term care

Ability to follow recipes, production sheets, and sanitation procedures

Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset

ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)

Ability to solve problems and stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen
