Automotive Service Advisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their automotive needs are met. You will leverage your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to facilitate effective communication between customers and our service technicians, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.

Duties

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive needs.
• Utilize service writing skills to document customer requests accurately.
• Provide detailed explanations of services needed.
• Collaborate with mechanics to ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships.

Experience

• Previous experience in a customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge is essential; familiarity with brake repair, alignments, shocks/struts, and diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both customers and technical staff.
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
