Speech Language Pathologist

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school serving students Pre-K through 8th grade, with a caseload spanning three schools and approximately 80 students, in partnership with another SLP. This contractual role is based in Waterbury, CT, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language evaluations and interventions for students ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Manage a caseload of about 80 students across three school locations alongside a partnering SLP
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports for students served
• Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions as required

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities and backgrounds
• Open to both full-time, part-time, and hybrid work arrangements
