Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for hospitality excellence. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in both casual and fine dining settings is highly valued, along with expertise in restaurant management systems such as Toast, Aloha POS and Micros POS.

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer experience
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure a motivated and efficient team
  • Supervise kitchen operations, including food safety, inventory control, and food production processes
  • Handle cash management, POS transactions, and daily financial reporting
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock while minimizing waste
  • Implement policies for shift management, customer service standards, and operational procedures
  • Lead staff recruitment efforts through interviewing and onboarding new team members
  • Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and enhance guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed

Experience

  • Proven management experience within the food service industry, preferably in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
  • Extensive knowledge of restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
  • Strong background in food safety protocols, inventory control, and kitchen management
  • Experience supervising staff across multiple departments including culinary teams and front-of-house personnel
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in training & development, team management, and conflict resolution
  • Prior experience with budgeting, cost control, and operational planning is highly desirable
  • Background in hospitality management or hotel experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with culinary techniques such as food preparation and cooking is beneficial
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering memorable dining experiences

Pay: $60, $80,000.00 per year
