Bold Monk Brewing Co. is a Belgian-inspired brewery, brasserie, coffee bar, and multi-level dining experience in West Midtown. Our hosts are the first impression of the entire property—from the dining room and gallery to the beer garden and The Abbey. We're known for warm hospitality, intentional service, and creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.

Role Summary

Our hosts set the tone for the guest experience. You'll manage reservations, greet guests with warmth, maintain the flow of the restaurant, and support our service team in delivering polished, genuine hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming first impression
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlist using our reservation system
• Communicate accurately with servers, bartenders, and leadership to maintain smooth seating flow
• Guide guests to their tables and assist with special accommodations as needed
• Answer guest questions regarding menus, events, and the Bold Monk property
• Support the service team with guest needs, seating resets, and overall flow
• Maintain an organized and polished host stand and entry area
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and training
• Represent the hospitality standards of Bold Monk Brewing Co. at all times

Qualifications

• Prior host/hostess or customer service experience preferred
• Friendly, warm, and professional demeanor
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
• Comfortable learning and using reservation/host systems
• Team-oriented and guest-focused
• Must be 18+
