Server

Hooked on Sushi Encinitas is looking for a server to join our strong team. We are looking for friendly, attentive, and reliable servers to join our team. Prior sushi restaurant experience is a plus, but not required. This will be a part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and seat guests
• Present menus and guide guests through food and beverage selections
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely and organized manner
• Provide excellent, attentive customer service throughout the dining experience
• Assist with table setup, resetting, and overall dining room cleanliness
• Manage take-out orders: answering phones, packing orders, and operating online ordering tablets
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests

Qualifications

• Positive, welcoming attitude with a strong sense of hospitality
• Able to work well with others and contribute to a team-driven environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to problem-solve under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Prior serving experience required; sushi or Japanese restaurant experience preferred
• Must obtain Food Handler's Certificate and RBS certification (can be completed upon hiring)
• Commitment to cleanliness and proper sanitation practices
