Gator Experience Manager

DEFINITION:

Delivers exceptional customer service, exceeding guest expectations for the Gator Experience. Oversees the planning, organization, and coordination of staff and resources to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations. Collaborates with executives to support overall operational success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:

a) Provide excellent guest service, including problem solving skills

b) Ensures that the safety and well-being of customers', Team members', and Animals are a priority

c) Manages all maintenance issues and coordinates with senior management as well as the maintenance manager on any issues that may arise

d) Execute appropriate action plans during extreme weather events

e) Ensures all equipment is functional and arranges repairs when appropriate

f) Organizes various promotional events, activities and shows, coordinating with operational management for execution.

g) Promotes active selling of products and services

h) Manages inventory and monitors sales to ensure that product is available for purchase while focusing on controllable costs

i) Tracks inventory, including transfers, ordering, and waste management

j) Leads by example to encourage team members to increase sales and ensure efficiency

k) Ensures compliance to all Fudpucker's & Gator Experience policies and procedures as per the Employee Policy handbooks

l) Hires, trains, evaluates, schedules and holds staff accountable to standards Gator Beach staff

m) Ensures that all employees are trained to high standards in applicable areas, assigning staff appropriately

n) Promotes knowledge of Fudpucker's history, menu offerings, specials, promotions, entertainment schedules, and other matters about which guests may inquire

o) Promotes effective communication with staff including executives

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess excellent customer service skills including pleasant and friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent knowledge of all company operating procedures.
  • High school graduate or equivalent desired.
  • Ability to work 45-50 hours per week.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

  • Must be able to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four hours in length.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • May be exposed to wet floors, noise, and temperature extremes.
  • May be required to perform diverse physical tasks
