E-House Production Lead

**This is a 2nd Shift position with working hours M-Th from 2:15pm to 12:45am**
The E-House Production Lead will serve as a resource and work closely with the Production Supervisor and other team managers to achieve department goals related to productivity, quality, delivery, and safety. The E-House Production Lead will help train employees and assist in directing the work of the department. This role plays a key part in driving operational efficiency, ensuring high-quality output, and fostering a collaborative, positive work environment. Success in this position requires strong leadership competencies, technical expertise, and the ability to lead by example on the production floor.
Qualifications- Spend approximately 80% of the workday on production activities.
- Communicate with the Supervisor and other Leads to manage and prioritize job assignments to meet customer demand and the production schedule.
- Assist in training employees on safety practices and department-specific procedures.
- Ensure adherence to standardized work, instructions, and procedures, and communicate updates promptly.
- Monitor quality output and address any non-conformances with the Production Supervisor.
- Ensure departmental compliance with all safety standards and immediately report any issues or concerns.
- Monitor and report daily defects, scrap, and lost time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Enforce the use of required Personal Protective Equipment and OSHA compliance.
- Identify and support process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and communication with hourly teams and management.
- Lead by example in promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience
- Knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution Equipment
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong Leadership skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven problem solver and detailed oriented.
- Knowledge of general industry OSHA standards.
- Ability to pass background and drug tests prior employment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- ISO 9001 or equivalent quality system experience
- Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience
- Technical & Process Expertise – Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to troubleshoot production challenges.
- Team Leadership – Ability to coach and guide team members to meet performance goals.
- Problem Solving – Skilled in identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
