Network Engineer

Overview

Specifies, installs, configures, and supports/maintains data network hardware, software and circuits. Assists in the planning and operational support for data communications.

Responsibilities

• Specifies, installs, configures, and supports/maintains data network hardware and software.

• Works with data communications service vendors to design and implement new network services.

• Plans and executes data network projects.

• Specifies and troubleshoots data network circuits.

• Maintains existing documentation and develops new documentation.

• Recommends and implements procedures that improve the technical services network operations for Information Services application groups and user departments.

• Serves as a technical resource for Information Services and user departments.

• Evaluates, recommends, and implements data network hardware, software, and circuits which improve the operation of Information Services.

• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of data network management experience, or the equivalent in education and experience required.

• Pay Range: $75,899.20/Yr. - $117,644.80/Yr. (Based on 40 hours per week, otherwise pro rata)
