Installation Engineer

Job Title: Installation Engineer
Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 (based on qualifications)

Position Summary
This position is responsible for traveling to customer sites and installing Domino supplied printers and accessories.

Field Based

Main Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Travel to locations including customers, vendors, and Domino offices (80%-100%)
• Install Domino supplied printers and accessories at customer sites
• Provide technical (product) and Health & Safety training to customers on Domino-supplied products
• Ensure all installations are completed so that any hoses, cables, or wires are routed in a neat visually appealing manner
• Undertake on-site and remote fault finding and repair of Domino-supplied equipment.
• Carryout repair services or preventative maintenance services to maximize uptime in line with Customer production schedules and equipment specifications
• Provide telephone technical support when appropriate
• Maintain records of and follow Domino service procedures and technical bulletins
• Liaise appropriately with site personnel who may include managers, operators, maintenance staff, and electricians
• Provide timely response to internal and external Customers
• Initiate proactive action on behalf of the Customer
• Provide closed loop feedback on all escalated Customer actions
• Work comfortably in a remote environment
• Self-motivated/organized, and operates without the need for direct supervision/guidance
• Performs all administrative work-related tasks in a timely manner.
• Manage Domino parts inventory for accuracy
• Ensure work area is clean and safe at all times

What You Need
Education & Experience

• Associates degree in a technical field required
• 5 years of related experience servicing or maintaining electro-mechanical equipment
• Experience using basic hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment like digital volt meters
• Valid Driver's License required

• Ability to prioritize tasks

Physical Demands

• Medium work. Medium work involves lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Health & Safety Concerns

• Chemical hazards - solvents, adhesives, paints, toxic dusts, among other potentially toxic fumes or acids
• Ergonomic risk factors - repetitive actions, such as heavy lifting or the use of tools with significant vibration
• General Office Environment
