Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Hospice Marketer/Community Liaison to serve as the vital bridge between our hospice services and the community. Duties
- The Community Liaison will require interactions with physicians, hospitals, and community partners as we seek to provide continued delivery of care throughout the service area
- Your responsibilities would include communicating the benefits of hospice care to these professionals and families, educating the community about hospice services, and conducting sales calls to existing and potential referral sources
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources
- Build and monitor community, customer, payer, and patient perceptions of the organization
- Assist in strategic planning to identify opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs
- Maintain comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing
- Continuously evaluates personal and professional performance and makes necessary changes to increase productivity and quality of care delivered
- Adheres to and supports the policies/procedures/goals/objectives of hospice to assure quality patient care
- Strives for independence and sound critical decision making
Experience
- At least one (1) year experience in a similar sales or marketing role in the hospice industry with a proven track-record
- Ability to build rapport with doctors, case managers and community partners
- Compassionate and caring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Driver's license and car insurance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
