Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food industry. This role requires multitasking abilities, effective communication skills, and a commitment to ensuring an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using SpotOn POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information to guests, including specials and recommendations, while effectively upselling items to enhance their dining experience.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area throughout service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service flow.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant policies, procedures, and menu offerings to provide accurate information to guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
• Familiarity with Spoton POS is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is required.
• Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory.
