Job Description

Alibaba Cloud Infrastructure team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, candidate to drive the implementation of Infrastructure projects. S/he should thrive in collaborative, cross-functional environments to manage both internal and external stakeholders to tackle the challenges in designing and building Alibaba Cloud IT infrastructures. The program manager is responsible for project oversights and review in IT infrastructures deployment by providing direction, coordination, control on the team to ensure consistency with global technical standards and business goals.
Key responsibilities include
• Own the deployment of Alibaba cloud overseas IT infrastructures in server rooms.
• Partner with several stakeholders such as capacity planning, network, engineering, operation, procurement, supply chain management and finance team to ensure the successful delivery of IT infrastructures.
• Manage multiple vendors to track progress, identify risks and solve problems throughout the project. Be responsible for the project delivery in targeted schedule, cost and quality.
• Own initiatives to standardize global process of project management and improve the deployment methodologies to optimize the schedule.
• Identify defects or waste in our deployment processes, and drive new processes and software automation to eliminate the defects and prevent them from recurring without posing risk to availability.

Position Requirement

Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years experience managing projects in Public Cloud IT Infrastructures Deployment or comparable critical infrastructure.
• 5+ years experience in IT Deployment or Project Management.
• 5+ years experience in Vendor Management.
• Excellent written composition and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to think and react in a high energy, fast paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Project Management or a related technical discipline.
• Expertise in one or more of the following areas: IT/CT solution, IT/CT deployment, network architecture, structured cabling, server deployment, program management.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, evaluate new ideas with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders and experience presenting to senior executives.
• Significant experience successfully delivering results in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Able to speak mandarin.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $133,200 and $219,600/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary
