Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor production personnel—setting goals, providing feedback, resolving conflicts, conducting training, and holding employees accountable.
  • Lead Area Leads in managing their zones and sustaining improvements in Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Delivery metrics.
  • Perform daily personnel management, including labor allocation, attendance review, and ADP oversight.
  • Communicate effectively with front-line employees, leads, and supervisors to identify improvement opportunities and sustain initiatives.

Production Operations

  • Maximize productivity by optimizing staffing, workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Execute production schedules in coordination with planning to ensure on-time delivery and efficiency.
  • Maintain strong floor presence and use hands-on leadership to troubleshoot issues and facilitate real-time problem resolution.
  • Ensure accuracy of production reporting, Work Orders, PvA board audits, and inventory transactions within the ERP system.

Safety & Quality Management

  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies; conduct Job Hazard Analyses and safety audits to improve workplace safety.
  • Uphold quality standards and audit inspection practices to support a "quality at the source" mindset under TQM.
  • Maintain organized and clean work areas through 5S practices.

Process Improvement & Maintenance

  • Identify and resolve recurring production issues using root cause analysis, PDCA, and lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, quality improvement, and process reliability.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to enhance workflow and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Lead autonomous maintenance efforts and coordinate corrective maintenance through creation and verification of maintenance Work Orders.
  • Partner with Engineering and Maintenance to implement TPM concepts and improve equipment reliability.
  • Maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by reducing downtime, improving yields, and increasing throughput.

Materials & Inventory Coordination

  • Monitor raw material, consumable, spare parts, and WIP inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Inventory Control, and Purchasing to maintain proper stock levels and support uninterrupted operations.
  • Support improvement of manufacturing processes and inventory flow within the ERP system.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar production/process engineering role.

Technical Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing methodologies with practical, on-the-floor implementation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of KPIs, OEE, PDCA, TPM, 5S, and standard work development.

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership abilities with proven coaching and mentoring experience.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and persistent in driving improvements.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Team-oriented and able to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65, $85,000.00 per year
