Firearms Assembler

Position Overview:

B&T USA is seeking a Firearm Assembler who will be responsible for assembling, testing, disassembling, preparing and reassembling firearms and suppressors following detailed instructions and performing quality checks to ensure functionality and accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble firearms and suppressors with limited supervision in addition to performing related work in assessing quality standards and ensuring the product meets exact specification and standards.
• Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verify finished products meet standards and specifications by measuring completed component.
• Test and clean assembled firearms.
• Troubleshoot unexpected issues that may arise during assembly or testing and find solutions efficiently; notify supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Required Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years of related experience in a manufacturing and/or assembly environment preferred.
• Experience with tools, machinery, and working in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Prior experience in firearm assembly or related fields is preferred
• Basic knowledge of firearms, their components, and how they function is required. This includes understanding different types of firearms (pistols, rifles) and their parts.

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted
• Regularly required to stand, sit, bend, reach and perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• May be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, and fumes.

Work Environment:

• Work performed in a combination of warehouse, manufacturing and indoor and outdoor firing range environments.

Job Type

FT – Hourly

Monday to Friday. May be required to work weekends and after-hours when needed to meet production demands.
