We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative
Electrical Engineer
to support design, development, testing, and validation activities for cutting-edge medical devices. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet regulatory, safety, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic circuits, PCB layouts, and embedded systems for medical devices.
- Support product development from concept through production, ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and IEC 60601 standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and electrical analyses (FMEA, DFMEA).
- Develop and execute test protocols for verification and validation of electrical components and systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
- Collaborate with mechanical, biomedical, and software engineering teams to integrate subsystems effectively.
- Document design specifications, test results, and technical reports to meet regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and field deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Electrical Engineering
or related field. - Strong understanding of analog/digital circuit design and PCB development.
- Experience with tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or similar ECAD software.
- Knowledge of embedded controllers, sensors, actuators, and medical-grade electrical components.
- Familiarity with medical device standards (IEC 60601, ISO 14971, ISO is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
