Job Title: ERP Enterprise Solution Architect
Location: REMOTE with TRAVEL
Term: Full Time Hire / Permanent
HM Note:
Candidate must be willing to travel anywhere in USA. Need Mixed ERP experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic leadership
: Develop and maintain the multi-year technology roadmap for ERP initiatives, including major upgrades, migrations, and new module deployments. - Architectural design
: Create enterprise-level architectural blueprints and reference models for complex ERP systems and their integration points. Define standards for data flows, system integrations, and user access. - Business alignment
: Collaborate with C-level executives and key business stakeholders across finance, HR, and supply chain to translate business needs into technical architecture solutions. - Governance and standards
: Lead architectural governance initiatives and establish technology standards and policies for ERP applications and related systems. - System evaluation
: Assess the current ERP landscape to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement in performance, efficiency, and cost. - Technical guidance
: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, solution architects, and project managers during major implementations. - Technology research
: Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends related to ERP, such as cloud migration (e.g., to SAP S/4HANA or Oracle ERP Cloud), and recommend adoption strategies. - Industry Expertise:
Apply a deep understanding of business processes and regulatory requirements specific to the Medical, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing industries to design tailored and compliant SAP solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP, with at least 3+ years in a Solution Architect or similar leadership role.
- Proven experience in at least two or more core SAP modules.
- Demonstrable experience working within the Medical, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing sectors.
- Strong understanding of ERP architecture and migration strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- A track record of successful project delivery, from design and estimation through to implementation.
- Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation.
- TOGAF certifications is a plus
