We are seeking a vigilant and professional Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment across our designated premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, enforcing security protocols, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats
• Observe activity and respond promptly to incidents
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies, including medical incidents, conflicts, or security breaches
• Write detailed incident reports accurately documenting any unusual or suspicious activities
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required, providing support as needed
• Maintain a visible presence to reassure staff and visitors, promoting a safe environment

Skills

• Knowledge of conflict management and de-escalation strategies
• First aid certification, including CPR training, is highly desirable
• Background in law enforcement, military service, or security is advantageous
• Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies or stressful situations
• Effective communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 40 per week
