Job Title: Business Analyst – Healthcare Distribution
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Reports To: CEO
Position Summary
The Business Analyst will support business and technology initiatives within a healthcare distribution environment by analyzing processes, systems, and data to drive operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, operations, and technology teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, supply chain, finance, sales, quality and technology to gather and document business requirements
- Analyze end-to-end healthcare distribution processes, including order management, inventory, logistics, pricing, and fulfillment
- Develop functional requirements, process flows, use cases, and business impact analyses
- Support system implementations, enhancements and integrations (WMS, TMS, EDI, CRM, reporting tools)
- Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
- Assist in testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), and support go-live readiness
- Create documentation, training materials, and support change management initiatives
- Monitor post-implementation performance and recommend continuous improvements
- Act as a subject matter expert on business processes and data within the healthcare distribution domain
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager, preferably in healthcare, distribution, supply chain, or regulated industries
- Strong experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional specifications
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Strong Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
