Job description:

This role provides technical and project leadership for application development and systems integration initiatives. The position supervises and guides subordinate staff, assists with planning and scheduling team resources, tracks status, and ensures timely completion of deliverables and required documentation.

The role is responsible for analyzing and developing project plans, resolving technical and operational issues, and coordinating integrated systems to ensure overall system integrity. Acts as the primary liaison between Information Services users, internal teams, and third-party software vendors or developers.

Responsibilities include managing project schedules, assigning tasks, supporting system installations, delivering user training, and participating in all phases of software development, systems analysis, design, and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Extensive experience in system analysis, design, development, and stakeholder relationship management

Technical Skills & Experience

Software Development & Architecture

• Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
• Experience working across multiple platforms
• Familiarity with architectural styles and design patterns, including microservices, monolithic, and client-server architectures

Programming & Databases

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages to support technical decision-making
• Knowledge of database design and data modeling concepts

Cloud & DevOps

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Security & Quality

• Strong understanding of application and system security principles
• Experience with test automation tools to ensure software quality

• JavaScript and UI frameworks including Kendo UI, AngularJS, React JS, jQuery, HTML5, and Bootstrap
• Web-based application deployment and debugging
• Web services design and development
• Version control using Git and TFS
• Database development with MS SQL and Oracle, including Oracle PL/SQL and T-SQL
• Client-Side Object Model (CSOM) and JavaScript Object Model (JSOM) for SharePoint Server 2013/2019 and SharePoint Online
• Integration of web applications with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Azure AD B2C
