Armed Security Officer

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Level 3 Armed Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security personnel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors within the school premises.

Responsibilities:

• Security Patrol:
• Conduct regular patrols of the school campus to deter and detect any potential security threats.
• Report any suspicious activities promptly.
• Access Control:
• Enforce access control measures to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Emergency Response:
• Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms, security breaches, or medical incidents.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Risk Assessment:
• Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improving security measures.
• Collaborate with school administration to address security vulnerabilities..
• Communication:
• Maintain clear and effective communication with school staff, students, and visitors.
• Report incidents and provide detailed written reports as necessary.
• Training and Drills:
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on security procedures and protocols.
• Conduct security drills to ensure preparedness for various scenarios.

Qualifications:

• Valid Level 3 Security Officer License.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education or training is a plus.
• Proven experience as an armed security officer, preferably in an educational setting.
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform security-related tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
