Quality Control Inspector

The Quality Inspector partners with Armor Operations to ensure product quality meets the company's standards. This role includes inspecting in-process and finished goods, verifying incoming materials, supporting the Quality Management System (QMS), and documenting quality-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform audits and inspections of work-in-progress and finished products.
• Verify incoming raw materials, subassemblies, and components.
• Assist with Nonconformance (NC) investigations.
• Process Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) if trained.
• Maintain accurate records for quality activities.
• Support other QMS-related tasks as needed.

Authority:

• Make independent acceptance decisions during routine inspections.
• Guide operations personnel to appropriate resources when needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma required.
• Experience:
• Required: None
• Preferred: 1–2 years in Manufacturing Quality Assurance

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in basic math and measurement tools (e.g., rulers, calipers, scales)
• Computer skills including MS Office and Adobe PDF tools
• Experience using ERP systems for data entry
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to read and follow operational procedures

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Use of manual and powered tools and equipment

Work Environment:

• Climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Adherence to general and job-specific safety requirements
• Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM and some Friday's (6AM-2:30PM)
• $1,000 bonus after 90 days

Pay: $15.00 per hour
