SUMMARY
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring the garments meet the company's production standard by performing a 2.5 audit from random production that is delivered daily to our warehouse facility and conducting inspections with great accuracy and speed according to internal company standards. This position may be assigned to a specific warehouse job function or to multiple areas as determined by business necessity.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Inspect and audit garments, using the appropriate methods such as comparing to standard, measuring, and visual color inspection.
· Perform a 2.5 audit from random production that is delivered daily to our warehouse facility.
- Review any defects with supervisor.
- Record inspection results (measurements, defects with suggestions) by completing reports.
- Determine what is a defect, what passes and what does not.
· Work in other department and duties as needed.
- Assist in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in work area.
· Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follow safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of years experience in Quality control.
- Must be able to measure garments.
- Must be able to have a good visual sense in colors.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of safety requirements for lifting and equipment maintenance.
- Basic math skills.
- Take initiative and be a good team player.
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

· Actively supports and complies with Company's objectives, guidelines and commitment to Quality and Safety, with an emphasis on continual improvement.
· Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
· Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager.
· Must be flexible regarding working hours and overtime. Must be able to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice.
· Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e., stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e., climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
· Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
· This position requires repetitive hand/wrist activities.
