We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for our Boston, Massachusetts facility to oversee our daily warehouse operations. This leadership role is critical to ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our **logistics** network. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating all warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. Key responsibilities include ensuring productivity targets are met, maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing **safety** policies, and optimizing workflow processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems and **logistics**. You will be instrumental in fostering a **safety**-conscious culture and ensuring all team members properly use **PPE**. Experience with managing **Lifting** operations and hazardous materials is a plus. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our **logistics** operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff in daily tasks.
- Ensure all warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Implement and enforce strict **safety** protocols and **PPE** requirements.
- Train and develop warehouse team members.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum productivity.
- Monitor **logistics** performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage the **Lifting** and handling of goods to prevent damage and injury.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar management role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse **logistics**, inventory control, and **safety** procedures.
- Experience with warehouse management software.
- Proficiency in **PPE** requirements and **safety** regulations.
- Ability to manage diverse teams and delegate tasks effectively.
- Experience with material handling equipment and **Lifting** operations.
