We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our Omaha, Nebraska facility to support our expanding e-commerce operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment. Attention to detail and efficiency are key to success in this position, as you will be directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will work within our **logistics** network, ensuring timely and accurate order processing. This role requires individuals who are comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse setting and who prioritize **safety**. Proper use of **PPE** is essential for all warehouse associates. The job involves regular **Lifting** of boxes and products, so physical stamina is important. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to all **safety** protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using a scanner or pick list.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipment.
- Maintain organized inventory shelves and work areas.
- Adhere to all **safety** guidelines and **PPE** requirements.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including **Lifting** and moving stock.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our **logistics** operations.
- Report any damaged items or inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to **Lift** up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Basic understanding of warehouse **logistics** and inventory flow.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and correct **PPE** usage.
- Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently.
- Team player with good communication skills.
