Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Durham, North Carolina! We are seeking dedicated individuals to contribute to our efficient warehouse and logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your precision and speed are key to meeting our fulfillment targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires physical stamina and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will work closely with other team members to achieve daily goals. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), is required. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets or electronic devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items carefully using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to outgoing packages.
- Conduct quality inspections of products and packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and general warehouse area.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist in receiving and stocking of incoming goods.
- Participate in inventory management processes, such as cycle counts.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including consistent use of PPE.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily production and efficiency targets.
- Support the overall logistics and warehouse functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to wear and properly use required PPE.
