Join our Minneapolis, Minnesota team as an Order Picker! We are looking for a diligent and precise individual to join our warehouse staff. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately select and prepare items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. As an Order Picker, you will be a vital link in our logistics chain, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Utilize RF scanners and/or pick lists to ensure correct item selection.
- Verify picked items against order details to maintain high accuracy standards.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, especially within picking zones.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately recording picked items and reporting discrepancies.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets for order picking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or related role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret product labels and order information.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Must have the ability to perform regular tasks involving Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and inventory principles.
- Dedication to workplace safety and the consistent wearing of required PPE.
