Join our dynamic logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia, as a Warehouse Associate! We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to support various warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Store goods in appropriate locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse, including work areas and common spaces.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring physical stamina, including Lifting up to 50-75 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Understanding of general logistics and supply chain operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of required PPE.
