We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk for our facility in Provo, Utah. This position is key to ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring that all packages meet shipping requirements. Your role will be vital to our overall logistics and supply chain success. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to workplace Safety. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all shipping documentation accurately.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Verify shipping addresses and ensure proper labeling of all packages.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for completeness and accuracy before dispatch.
- Maintain organized records of all shipped items and related documentation.
- Operate shipping software and systems effectively.
- Communicate with internal teams and external carriers to resolve any shipping issues.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization as needed.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar logistics role.
- Proficiency in shipping software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of shipping regulations and logistics best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe working environment.
- Ability to handle moderate Lifting tasks as required.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
