Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in **Logistics**? Our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility has an opening for a skilled Material Handler. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and tracking materials within the warehouse. This includes operating heavy machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring materials are stored correctly. Your attention to detail and commitment to **Safety** are crucial for this position. We maintain a strict adherence to all **Safety** protocols and require all employees to utilize provided **PPE**. You will be involved in significant **Lifting** and require the physical stamina to handle a demanding workload. This is a vital role in keeping our supply chain moving efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials to designated storage areas, ensuring proper organization and placement.
- Receive and document incoming materials.
- Conduct regular checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all **Safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements, including hard hats and safety vests.
- Perform **Lifting** of materials up to 60 lbs.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Support the overall **Logistics** operations of the distribution center.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is required. Valid forklift operator certification is a significant advantage. Must have the ability to perform heavy **Lifting** and work in a physically demanding environment. Strong understanding of warehouse **Safety** procedures and experience with **PPE**. Knowledge of **Logistics** and inventory control principles is beneficial.
