Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a great opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia? We are searching for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials within our warehouse. Your duties will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory to and from storage areas, and assist with order picking and fulfillment. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, performing routine equipment checks, and adhering strictly to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), are critical aspects of this job. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation and a solid understanding of warehouse logistics. We are committed to a safe working environment and expect all operators to prioritize safety in every task. This position involves frequent lifting and requires constant vigilance. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and staging for shipment.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, free of obstructions.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support general warehouse operations, including occasional lifting and manual material handling.
- Ensure compliance with all logistics and operational standards.
