Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in Baltimore, Maryland! This is a critical role within our logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for locating, picking, and packing items, ensuring each order is assembled correctly and prepared for shipment. We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and are committed to safety. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order documentation or RF scanner.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against customer orders.
- Pack orders securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply correct shipping labels and any necessary documentation to outgoing packages.
- Stage completed orders in the designated shipping area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of designated PPE.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control to maintain accuracy.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or potential safety issues to supervisory staff.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and support overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a Picker/Packer or similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and wearing required PPE.
