Our Minneapolis, Minnesota facility is looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our growing logistics team. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This position involves efficiently picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You will be working in a dynamic warehouse environment where accuracy and speed are paramount. This is a great entry-level opportunity for individuals who are organized, energetic, and committed to providing excellent service within the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists or RF scanner prompts.
- Verify picked items against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
- Operate pallet jacks and other lifting equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of required PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory or equipment immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of logistics processes is beneficial.
