Join our busy Tampa, Florida warehouse as a Material Handler! We need organized and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of materials within our facility. This role is critical for ensuring efficient operations and supporting our logistics processes. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks, and organizing inventory. A strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and safe equipment operation, is essential. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the physical ability to perform tasks involving manual handling and Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and stock materials, ensuring proper placement and inventory accuracy.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
- Perform tasks that involve significant Lifting and physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety practices and protocols.
- Ability to perform tasks involving heavy Lifting (up to 75 lbs).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
