Join our dynamic team in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a Shipping Clerk! We are looking for detail-oriented and efficient individuals to manage the outbound flow of products from our warehouse. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for preparing, packing, and documenting outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Responsibilities:
- Prepare orders for shipment by accurately picking, packing, and labeling them.
- Verify outgoing shipments against order details and shipping manifests.
- Operate shipping equipment such as scales, printers, and tape machines.
- Schedule and coordinate pick-ups with shipping carriers.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Ensure all packages are securely prepared for transit and meet carrier requirements.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and correctly utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, supporting overall Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse role is strongly preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to perform tasks involving manual Dexterity and occasional Lifting of up to 35 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to following Safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
