Join our snack-loving team
We’re looking for an Engineering Projects Manager to join us at KP Snacks. If you’re ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you – this could be your next big move.
About the role
As Central Engineering Projects Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the achievement of KP Snacks’ business objectives by ensuring our plant, equipment, site services, land and buildings are maintained and developed to the standards required for food manufacturing for our brands and the major multiples.
Working as a core member of the Central Engineering team, you’ll provide end‑to‑end oversight of capital and improvement projects across our UK Sites. From early concept through to commissioning and full handover, you’ll lead projects that may involve reconfiguration of Sites, relocation or installation of equipment, and enabling works to support operational change.
This is a highly collaborative, mobile role, requiring regular travel between sites and overnight stays. You’ll work closely with Site teams, Central functions and external partners, applying Intersnack Work Systems and the Initiative Management Pillar to deliver safe, compliant and effective outcomes.
What’s in it for you?
We believe in rewarding our colleagues and helping them thrive. Here’s a flavour of what we offer:
£7,500 annual car allowance.
Annual bonus scheme, with a strong track record of overachievement
Comprehensive healthcare support – including Medicash Health Cash Plan or Private Healthcare, Digital GP, Best Doctors second opinion service and specialist cancer care
KP Pension Plan – contribution matching up to 7% of your salary
25 days holiday, plus the option to buy more
KP4ME – our online platform for benefits, discounts, wellbeing tools and more
What will you be doing?
Providing central engineering oversight by ensuring plant, equipment, Site services, land and buildings are maintained and developed to standards suitable for food manufacturing and major retail customers
Delivering capital projects end to end by managing the full project lifecycle from concept, design and approval through to installation, commissioning and full handover
Supporting Site change and reconfiguration by overseeing equipment moves, enabling works and engineering solutions that allow projects to be delivered safely with minimal operational disruption
Contributing to Central Engineering performance by supporting internal customer satisfaction, compliance, capital budget control, technical standards and manufacturing excellence
Embedding Intersnack Work Systems by applying the principles of the Initiative Management Pillar to drive structured, consistent and high‑quality project delivery
Championing safety and compliance by ensuring all activities meet Health and Safety, food safety, legal and regulatory requirements, including contractor control
Who are we?

In the UK, we’re a team of around 2,400 colleagues, based across seven sites and our Slough HQ. We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.
We’re committed to inclusion
We’re building a workplace where everyone belongs. If you don’t tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you – your unique perspective could be just what we need. And if there’s anything we can do to make the process easier for you, just let us know.
We’d love to hear from you if you can bring:
Strong engineering experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another regulated environment
Proven ability to deliver a wide range of capital projects from concept to full handover
Experience managing plant, equipment and Site infrastructure within live manufacturing operations
A clear understanding of Health and Safety, compliance and technical standards in food production
Strong organisational and communication skills, with confidence working across multiple Sites and stakeholder groups
Flexibility to travel frequently and stay overnight as required
A degree in Engineering or similar. An HNC or equivalent experience gained through a craft apprenticeship, supported by extensive practical experience, will also support success in this role
