We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Material Handler to join our bustling logistics hub in Portland, Oregon. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse, involving the movement and organization of goods. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and productivity. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading materials from trucks, transporting goods to and from various warehouse locations, assisting with inventory management, preparing materials for shipment, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area. You will work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment. Experience with pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment is beneficial. We place a high emphasis on safety; therefore, all employees are required to follow established safety procedures and wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position requires regular lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs and demands physical stamina and agility.
