We are looking for a meticulous and organized Shipping Clerk to become an integral part of our logistics team in Des Moines, Iowa. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all outbound shipments are accurately processed, documented, and dispatched on time. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of their work. Responsibilities include preparing shipping labels, verifying order accuracy against shipping documents, coordinating with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules, maintaining shipping records, and packing items securely for transit. You will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. A good understanding of shipping software and common carrier procedures is advantageous. Safety is paramount in our warehouse; therefore, adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
