We are hiring Picker/Packers in San Antonio, Texas, to support our expanding logistics operations. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders and then securely packaging them for shipment. Your precision and efficiency directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth flow of our supply chain. This is a hands-on position requiring physical stamina and meticulous attention to detail. You'll work with various products, ensuring they are picked correctly, inspected for damage, and packed appropriately to prevent any issues during transit. We foster a culture of safety and efficiency, and we expect all team members to contribute to maintaining a secure and productive work environment. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times. This role involves significant lifting and movement throughout your shift, so a good level of physical fitness is necessary. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order slips.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Ensure all order details are correct before sealing packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Meet established picking and packing performance targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous picking and packing experience is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
