We are seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our team as Order Pickers in our Virginia Beach, Virginia facility. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications, ensuring the right products are selected for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations and requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. You will be responsible for operating a pallet jack or other warehouse equipment to retrieve items, verifying product codes and quantities, and preparing items for the packing station. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent organizational skills, and understands the importance of safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders using RF scanners and order sheets.
- Locate and retrieve products from various warehouse locations.
- Verify product information, quantities, and quality before shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Good communication skills.
