We are hiring an Order Picker for our facility in Durham, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to our logistics chain, responsible for accurately selecting items to fulfill customer orders. You will use various tools and equipment to navigate the warehouse, locate products, and ensure correct quantities are picked. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive picking lists and accurately locate specified items in the warehouse.
- Use order pickers, pallet jacks, or other equipment safely.
- Verify product codes and quantities before moving items to packing stations.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy in order selection.
- Keep picking areas clean and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear designated PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or inventory issues immediately.
- Assist in other warehouse duties as needed.
- Contribute to efficient workflow and operational targets.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial. Must be capable of regular Lifting up to 45 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are paramount. Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations. Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic. Basic understanding of logistics operations. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
