Are you ready to be a key player in our San Antonio, Texas warehouse as an Order Picker? We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding safety standards. You will be working in a dynamic warehouse environment, contributing to the efficiency of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order pick lists or scanner systems.
- Verify picked items against order specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for quality control and packing.
- Assist with packing and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Follow all company safety protocols and wear required PPE diligently.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies in stock levels or damaged items to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking goals and operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse/logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting.
- Capable of lifting up to 45 lbs throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and use of PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
