We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facilities. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various equipment used in our logistics operations. Your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth flow of goods and the overall success of our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
- Support other warehouse operations as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a warehouse setting, including appropriate PPE usage.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse operations is a plus.
