We are looking for a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is central to our supply chain, managing the flow of goods both into and out of our facility. You will be responsible for efficiently receiving incoming shipments, accurately verifying contents, and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to Safety. As a vital member of our Logistics operations, you will ensure inventory accuracy and contribute to timely deliveries. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying against purchase orders or invoices.
- Accurately document all received goods and store them appropriately.
- Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders according to specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including generating labels and coordinating with carriers.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in both receiving and shipping areas.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operations and any discrepancies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Understanding of Logistics processes and warehouse Safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
- Must be able to wear and maintain required PPE.
