The Beverage Shift Lead plays a key role in delivering warm, timely, and memorable beverage service for our residents and guests. What You'll Be Doing

  • Keep beverage service flowing smoothly throughout the dining room
  • Set the stage for success by stocking, organizing, and preparing beverage stations
  • Welcome and support new beverage team members with training and guidance
  • Anticipate guest needs and jump in to support waitstaff during busy meal periods
  • Track beverage orders and communicate wait times clearly and kindly
  • Prepare and serve beer, wine, and the occasional cocktail following established recipes and guidelines
  • Keep the beverage area sparkling clean and well-organized between and after services
  • Make sure the team has everything they need—glassware, garnishes, ice, and stocked coolers
  • Support catered events with setup, breakdown, and beverage service
  • Attend pre-meal huddles and collaborate with Chefs and fellow team members
  • Deliver a memorable first impression rooted in hospitality and care
  • Maintain department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards
  • Follow all OSHA safety regulations and applicable local health and safety laws
What We're Looking For
  • A friendly, service-minded professional who enjoys helping others
  • Someone who can work independently while staying connected to the team
  • Strong communication skills and a tactful approach with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers
  • Comfort working with people from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English in resident areas
  • Willingness to participate in trainings, in-services, and team meetings
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending experience
  • 2–3 years of dining experience (senior living experience is a plus)
  • TIPS certification or willingness to obtain during orientation
  • Comfort using basic computer software

Pay Range: $27/hour
Individual compensation within this range is based on a candidate's specific qualifications, including education, overall experience, relevant experience, and specific skills. We strive to ensure that compensation is competitive, fair, and reflects the value each candidate brings to the role.
