Server/Bartender

Job Overview

Delta by Marriott Orlando Celebrations is currently looking for server's/bartenders. This is an hourly role, and our servers provide high level of guest satisfaction and contribute to the succeeding our guest expectations. The right candidate will take the initiative and deliver a wide range of services to make sure that guests enjoy their meal. Whether setting tables, communicating with the kitchen, interacting and serving guests, or cleaning work areas and supplies, the Server makes transactions feel like part of the experience.

This role reports to the F&B Director and or the F&B Manager

Pay: Tipped Rate: $10.98 per hour with a $3.02 tipped credit as needed; per Florida law we guarantee that all tipped employees will make at least $14.00 per hour which includes tips.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu options with enthusiasm and clarity.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary needs are accommodated with precision.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a warm and positive environment for each guest.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including tables, stations, and dining spaces.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during large events or banquets.
• Follow all food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.

Experience

• Prior experience in a hotel or restaurant settings is highly preferred.
• Strong background in customer service and serving roles within the food industry
• Experience with banquet service or catering environments is a plus
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and dietary accommodations
• Barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation is advantageous
• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience demonstrating excellent communication skills is required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attentiveness.
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
