Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company during deliveries. Candidates with experience in warehouse operations and commercial driving are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Assist in warehouse duties including organizing inventory, operating forklifts, and using pallet jacks as needed.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of products, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with loading docks and inventory management.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 150 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is desirable but not mandatory.
