Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently with POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety, proper food presentation, and timely order fulfillment
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to connect with diverse guests
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining professionalism
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in serving positions that require guest relations expertise is required.

Pay: $5.49 - $15.49 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
